HOUSTON– Greenhill Insurance Services (Greenhill Insurance), a professional and general liability insurance provider specializing in social services and allied health care, announced today the appointment of Chris Dunlavy as president.
With nearly 15 years of insurance industry expertise, Dunlavy will work with the Greenhill Insurance executive suite to oversee all strategic direction and management of the growing company’s team. With a background in health care and professional liability underwriting, Dunlavy will seek to support and expand Greenhill Insurance’s four areas of expertise: proprietary specialty programs, risk management, claims services and financial services.

Prior to joining Greenhill Insurance, Dunlavy served as an underwriter at Beazley, a London-based specialty insurer. In this role, he managed a nationwide team of underwriters and was part of the U.S. Miscellaneous Medical and Life Sciences management team. There, he successfully built and maintained a large book of health care business both domestically and in the London market.
Dunlavy previously served as a senior underwriter at multi-line insurance carrier Hiscox and has experience working in MGAs and with wholesale brokers. He holds a bachelor’s degree in risk management and insurance from the University of Georgia.
