Virtis Health Unveils Ambulatory Infusion Center in Houston

HOUSTON– Virtis Health, a national healthcare provider dedicated to therapeutic and diagnostic services for patients with complex conditions requiring specialty infusible and injectable medications, announced today its unveiling of an ambulatory infusion center (AIC) in Houston.

Virtis Health Houston is conveniently located at 6800 West Loop South, Suite 475, Bellaire, Texas 77041, in close proximity to Texas Medical Center.

Virtis Health is a division of Soleo Health, a national provider of complex specialty pharmacy services administered in the home or at alternate sites of care. Together, the combined service offering of both Virtis Health and Soleo Health in the Texas market provides patients flexible site of care options to meet their individual therapy needs and service expectations in a cost-effective setting.

Virtis Health Houston offers therapy management services and treatments for patients with autoimmune disorders, including chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy, multiple sclerosis and myasthenia gravis. The AIC also provides treatments for and manages patients with various inflammatory conditions, such as thyroid eye disease, Crohn’s disease, rheumatoid arthritis, ulcerative colitis, primary immunodeficiencies and rare and ultra-rare diseases.

Concurrent with the opening, Amy V. Nguyen, APRN, MSN, FNP-C, was appointed nurse practitioner at Virtis Houston, supervising the overall clinical practice. She brings extensive oncology experience as well as expertise in family practice. In her new role, Nguyen will manage all patient needs and assess, diagnose and treat both general and chronic illnesses. In addition, clinical pharmacists are also available at Virtis Houston as needed.
