Melbourne, Australia– Scanfil has signed a manufacturing agreement with Liquid Instruments to produce the company’s flagship Moku platform at Scanfil’s Melbourne facility. The deal supports Liquid Instruments’ strategy to onshore production, bringing it closer to its research and development hub while reinforcing domestic supply chains.

The agreement also expands Scanfil’s presence in the Medtech and life sciences sectors through its Australian subsidiary, SRXGlobal. The company will provide end-to-end manufacturing services, including supply chain management, scalable production, and global logistics support — all centered in Victoria.

“This partnership enables us to scale more efficiently and invest further in Australia’s growing technology ecosystem,” said Liquid Instruments CEO Daniel Shaddock. “Scanfil’s local expertise makes them the right partner for this next stage of growth.”

The Moku platform, developed by Liquid Instruments, integrates multiple test and measurement tools into a single device and is used widely in research and engineering settings.

Scanfil’s Vice President for the Asia-Pacific region, Christian Kesten, said the collaboration fits well with SRXGlobal’s capabilities. “Liquid Instruments has developed a complex and innovative product, and we are excited to support their journey as a preferred manufacturing partner,” he said.

The move marks a broader trend toward reshoring high-tech manufacturing, particularly in sectors like Medtech, where proximity to R&D teams and supply chain resilience are increasingly valued.
