TREVOR, Wis.– Vonco Products LLC, an industry-leading contract manufacture of liquid-tight medical fluid bags and devices, biohazard transport, and infection prevention PPEs and device covers, today announced plans to increase design and development and production capacity in support of the White House’s call to maximize the use of goods, products, and materials produced in, and services offered in, the United States.

“On January 25th, an executive order was issued to Ensure the Future Is Made in All of America by All of America’s Workers,” said Keith Smith, president of Vonco. “Medtech is under tremendous pressure to provide supply chain resiliency. We’re uniquely positioned to help reduce risk to supply chains, meet increasing demand, and replenish America’s national stockpiles.”

As highlighted in a recent McKinsey COVID-19 report, medtech companies need to continually evaluate and mitigate vulnerabilities that could compromise quality or security of supply—a particularly important factor given both the direct impact their products have on patient outcomes and the regulated nature of the industry.

Smith added, “As a result of this pandemic, I think we can all agree that it’s better to derisk and procure goods, products, materials, and services from sources that will help American businesses compete in strategic industries and help America’s workers thrive.”

All products are manufactured in its Trevor, Wisconsin and Geneva, Illinois facilities, including a wide range of solutions for biohazard testing and transport, dialysis, drainage, enteral feeding, IV, infection prevention and PPEs, nursing, ostomy, and laboratories. Also available are registered cleanrooms for parts programming and assembly.
