NEW YORK– Happify Health, the Intelligent Healing Company™, which configures personalized digital therapeutics and care solutions for the modern healthcare cloud, today announced it has appointed Megan Callahan, MPH as Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. Callahan joins the executive management team with more than 20 years of experience driving growth for healthcare technology and digital health companies.
In her role, Callahan will lead operations, focusing on the company’s market and brand position, and expanding Happify Health’s partner ecosystem.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Megan Callahan to our team,” said Tomer Ben-Kiki, Co-Founder and CEO at Happify Health. “As we move to our next phase of development, continue to scale, and look toward global distribution, Megan’s proven leadership in strategy, growth, and execution in the healthcare technology space will prove invaluable. Megan’s experience leading strategy and business development at Change Healthcare and McKesson have given her great insight into how best to develop and deploy platform-based healthcare solutions within partner ecosystems,” Ben-Kiki concluded.
Before joining Happify Health, Callahan was the president and general manager of Lyft Healthcare, Inc., where she delivered improved healthcare access and equity for the 5.4M people who miss healthcare appointments every year due to lack of transportation. Prior to Lyft, Callahan served as chief strategy officer for Change Healthcare, and SVP of corporate strategy and business development for McKesson. She also serves as an advisor to several digital health start-ups and was recognized as a Fierce Healthcare Woman of Influence in 2020. She earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) from UCLA.
“The pandemic has moved the U.S. healthcare system to a point in which the available supply of providers can no longer keep pace with unprecedented levels of demand for care,” Callahan said. “What we’re building at Happify Health is something completely new: a one-of-one software platform that cares for the whole person—mind and body—and bridges the gap between need and care. I believe in Happify Health’s potential to transform the way we deliver care in the United States and globally, and I can’t wait to get started.”
