SAN FRANCISCO– Allison+Partners today announced the appointment of senior agency leader and Purpose brand strategist, Whitney Dailey, as Executive Vice President, Purpose, to help lead the agency’s work with Purpose-driven brands across sectors.
Prior to joining the agency, Dailey served as Senior Vice President of Marketing, Research & Insights at Porter Novelli, where she helped transform the agency into a Purpose-driven organization through powerful thought leadership, communications and marketing. Dailey was instrumental in bolstering the profile of Porter Novelli and Cone Communications (acquired by Porter Novelli in 2018), leveraging consumer data, industry insights and original research to hone Purpose and ESG-related brand strategy for corporate and nonprofit clients.
“More than ever, stakeholders expect brands to articulate why they exist beyond simply making money and, more importantly, how they’re actively and authentically helping protect the planet, strengthen communities and build a better, more equitable future,” Dailey said. “Allison+Partners is driving some of the most cutting-edge work in this area, and I’m thrilled to be joining the team at a pivotal time.”
Dailey joins the agency at a time of exciting growth, building on a rich history of Purpose-driven work by Allison+Partners. In her role, Dailey will collaborate with global leaders at Allison+Partners to build breakthrough Purpose and ESG (environmental, social and governance) platforms and related communications programs that drive business results and meet evolving consumer demand and stakeholder expectations.
“Whitney is one of those rare, inspiring leaders who lives comfortably at the intersection of Purpose and communications,” said Anne Colaiacovo, Global Partner & President, North America for Allison+Partners. “Her ability to translate complex research, insights and marketplace trends into actionable programming for clients has made her one of the most trusted experts in this space and a valuable counselor to leading global brands.”
