AUSTIN, Texas– Restore Hyper Wellness (Restore), a leading provider of proactive wellness services, announced the appointment of Emma Nasif as Chief Compliance Officer.

Nasif brings over 12 years of legal and compliance experience in a number of complex industries including healthcare, technology, telecommunications and hospitality. With a “built-in” approach to compliance programs, Nasif plans to integrate Restore’s legal and compliance functions into the everyday operations of the brand and employee workflows.

“Adding Emma to the legal team was an important step in ensuring all of Restore’s processes and procedures continue to comply with the everchanging legalities and regulations around the cutting-edge services offered in our studios,” said Jim Donnelly, CEO and Co-Founder. “Her legal expertise will serve as a strong sounding board as we continue to expand our reach to more customers.”

Most recently, Nasif was the assistant general counsel for VMware, a cloud computing and virtualization technology company, responsible for leading the Americas labor and employment legal team. Prior to that, Nasif worked at ModivCare, a healthcare services company, reporting to her longtime mentor, Kathryn Stalmack, who was appointed as Restore’s General Counsel last September.

“It’s extremely rewarding to have the opportunity to be working with Emma once again,” said Kathryn Stalmack, General Counsel. “Having previously seen her lead a company through a strategic rebrand, I’m confident Emma will help develop the necessary policies and procedures to support Restore as we surpass 190 wellness studios across 41 states.”

Nasif’s experience spans all stages of compliance development, from established to early-stage programs, and includes all elements necessary to have an effective compliance program according to the Officer of Inspector General and Department of Justice.

“Rejoining Kathryn’s team at Restore has been a complete full-circle moment,” said Nasif. “I look forward to helping Restore deliver a world-class wellness experience while ensuring the company’s model is rooted in a strong compliance practice.”
