BOSTON– Engooden Health, a company redefining chronic disease management, today announced that veteran healthcare executive Tom Frosheiser has been selected to serve as chief executive officer. Frosheiser succeeds Tom Ferry, who has served as CEO since 2021 and will remain on the board of directors at Engooden.
Frosheiser, who brings more than 30 years of experience in tech-enabled healthcare, chronic disease management, patient engagement, and population health, will help lead the company with a heightened focus on delivering value to current customers, developing new offerings and driving strategic growth.
“Engooden has been helping our customers provide valuable chronic disease management services to their patients, which has resulted in thousands of lives being positively impacted,” said Engooden CEO Tom Frosheiser. “I’m honored to lead this incredible team as we focus on helping our customers better serve their patients and scale these services to reach even more people in need.”
Health systems, federally qualified health centers, physician offices, and other providers nationwide rely on Engooden to provide scalable services to empower patients living with chronic diseases to take control of their conditions at home. Through technology-driven, personalized interventions by experienced and empathetic care navigators, Engooden connects with thousands of patients each month, addressing their barriers to care while providing chronic care management services, including education, coaching, and advocacy.
“The team at Engooden has demonstrated that consistent, trust-based engagement helps patients better manage their health at home, improving their health outcomes and quality of life.
