TORONTO & DALLAS– ALTEN Group (ALTEN) (ATE:PA) announced today the acquisition of QA Consultants, an award-winning and leading independent software quality engineering services company serving North America.
“We set out almost 30 years ago to create the world’s best quality engineering services firm and we have emerged as the North American leader in identifying risk for small and large enterprises. I am incredibly proud of what our organization has accomplished and am grateful to our employees for their contributions,” said Alex Rodov, Founder and Managing Partner, QA Consultants. “This transaction marks the start of an exciting new chapter for QA Consultants where we become part of a much larger enterprise with aligned cultures, allowing us to bring further value and capabilities to our customers.”
QA Consultants’ singular vision is to improve the impact of software in the world with the strongest quality engineering team available. Helping companies engineer and implement higher quality software by confirming it functions, scales, and is secure has been the foundation of their continued success.
ALTEN Group, a global engineering and IT services company, and a key player in engineering and technology consulting, saw QA Consultants and its expertise in software quality as a complementary opportunity to further strengthen its agile software development, data, cloud, infrastructure, and cybersecurity consultancy. This acquisition bolsters the number of ALTEN employees in North America to almost 3,000, with a global employee base of over 52,000.
“QA Consultants has established itself as a leader in software quality engineering, and this acquisition allows us to enhance our service offering across all industries and sectors with even more robust end-to-end software development services,” says Simon Azoulay, Chairman and CEO, ALTEN.
“The company we have built along with our incredible team of quality engineering practitioners have enabled significant growth for QA Consultants. We are thankful to our clients for their collaborative engagements in the pursuit of higher quality software,” says Brian Bernknopf, Managing Director of QA Consultants’ US Operations. “ALTEN’s history, passion for innovation, and growth focus makes them an ideal partner for QA Consultants in this transaction and one that our team, our partners, and our customers will benefit from in the years to come.”
ALTEN has agreed to acquire substantially all of the assets of QA Consultants for an undisclosed sum, representing a significant addition to ALTEN’s Services portfolio. Moving forward, QA Consultants will continue to operate business as usual and as an independent subsidiary of ALTEN. QA Consultants’ senior leadership team will remain with the organization.
