EL SEGUNDO, Calif.– Radiology Partners (RP), through its owned and affiliated practices, the largest physician-led and physician-owned radiology practice in the U.S., announced today that Dr. Andrew Litt has joined its board of directors. Dr. Litt is a board-certified radiologist and fellow of the American College of Radiology with extensive experience in healthcare and business leadership. Dr. Litt is one of three radiologists who serve on RP’s board and will play a vital role in setting business strategy on behalf of the practice.

“Everything we have accomplished as a practice is due to the talents and expertise of people who are attracted to the idea of transforming radiology, and our board of directors is no exception,” said Rich Whitney, RP board chair and CEO. “Dr. Litt is a neuroradiologist who practiced for more than 20 years and has recognized expertise in neurovascular imaging coupled with an extensive background in leadership, operations, artificial intelligence technology and strategy, and I am confident his contributions will play a key role in advancing our mission.”

Dr. Litt currently serves as CEO of Cornice Health Ventures, LLC., which helps others acquire and collaborate with healthcare service and technologies companies. He is also an operating partner with Whistler Capital and with The Vistria Group, both of which are healthcare-oriented investment firms. Dr. Litt previously served as an executive-in-residence with GE Healthcare and GE Ventures with a focus on artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning. Additional leadership positions include chief medical officer for Dell’s Healthcare and Life Sciences division; executive vice president and vice dean at the NYU Langone Medical Center; and founder and board chair for CareCore (now eviCore). He currently serves as board chair for Seno Medical and is an advisor to Octave BioSciences. He previously served on boards for Imaging on Call and Supplemental Health Care. He earned his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine and his bachelor’s degree in computer science from Brown University.

“More than ever before, medical imaging is central to the continuum of patient care, putting radiologists in a position to create enormous value within the healthcare system on behalf of patients and families,” Dr. Litt said. “RP is the clear leader in radiology, evidenced by the practice’s emphasis on physician leadership, clinical best practices, client service and development and deployment of innovative AI tools—and RP is the only practice doing all of this at scale. I am thrilled to be part of this team.”

Dr. Krishna Nallamshetty, chief medical officer noted, “Physician leadership is central to RP’s culture. By amplifying radiologist voices at every level of our practice, we will continue to accelerate our trajectory to transform radiology and thereby promote positive change in our healthcare system more broadly.”

Dr. Litt assumes Dr. William Brody’s board position, who is retiring from the board. Dr. Brody served on RP’s board since 2016, and brought decades of experience as a radiologist, academic leader and co-founder of several companies and board member for numerous organizations ranging from startups to Fortune 50 companies. During his board tenure, RP progressed from start-up to the largest radiology practice in the U.S. serving clients in all 50 states and has become recognized as a clinical and technology leader. “We will be forever grateful for the many contributions Dr. Brody made to our business over the years and will miss his wise counsel and dedication to the mission of RP,” added Whitney.
