Augusta Terminal Solar Project

FRANKLIN, Tenn.– Eco-Energy, a leading clean energy solutions company for over three decades, has achieved the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) ENERGY STAR Challenge for Industry at its Augusta and Cartersville, Georgia fuel terminals. The Augusta terminal has reduced its energy intensity by 41.3% in 2 years, making it the leading industrial site for energy reduction in the state of Georgia. Cartersville was recognized for its 18% reduction within 2 years.

This energy reduction can be attributed to the solar projects developed by Eco-Energy at both sites. Eco-Energy is using solar projects as a key part of its internal and external sustainability strategy. They are committed to providing carbon solutions to wholesale energy consumers across the country.

“We are proud to celebrate Eco-Energy’s commitment to sustainable projects. Achieving the ENERGY STAR Challenge for Industry at our Augusta and Cartersville terminals not only demonstrates our dedication to reducing our environmental footprint but also highlights our leadership in driving clean energy solutions for our customers. These accomplishments reflect the hard work and dedication of our Solar team, and we remain steadfast in our mission to provide carbon solutions for the energy supply chain,” said Brian Simpson, Eco-Energy Chief Marketing Officer.
