HYANNIS, Mass.– Coastal Medical Transportation Systems (CMTS), a privately owned and operated medical transportation company dedicated to providing the highest quality of care with compassion, dignity and respect for customers and their patients, today announced the expansion of the company’s services into New Hampshire. The strategic move was fueled by an urgent demand from local hospitals and skilled nursing facilities who have frequently expressed the critical need for more non-emergency transport services in the area. In support of the growth the company has established a base in Hudson, NH and plans to start supporting the southern region of the state starting in June of this year.

For over 11 years the Massachusetts private ambulance company has invested in key geographies across New England offering emergency and non-emergency transportation services to leading healthcare institutions and the patients under their care. With this growth initiative CMTS will serve the southern New Hampshire communities, focused initially on facilities in the greater Nashua, NH market with plans to expand throughout the state as service demand increases. At this time the organization will offer non-emergency inter facility transport services between hospitals and skilled nursing facilities and provide transit vehicle services for patients not requiring ambulance services, including transporting patients to and from scheduled clinical appointments.

“As one of the largest and most established ambulance operations in New England, Coastal Medical is always looking for new communities that could benefit from our deep medical transport expertise, extensive vehicle resources, top of the line field equipment, and professional staff,” said Alex Theoharidis, Founder and CEO of Coastal Medical Transportation Systems. “When we evaluated the Southern New Hampshire market, we recognized that the strength of our offering seamlessly matched their growing need for non-emergency transport services in the area. We look forward to formerly rolling out our service offering in June and delivering the gold standard of care that we are known for.”
