MULLICA HILL, N.J.– Inspira Health today announced the promotion of Julie H. Ellis, MBA, SHRM-SCP, to the role of Senior Vice President Chief Human Resources Officer, effective December 1, 2024. Ellis will be succeeding Anneliese McMenamin, who is retiring after serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for the past three years.
With more than 20 years of experience in human resources within the health care industry, Ellis is well-equipped to ensure alignment with Inspira’s mission, vision and values. Since joining Inspira Health in September 2021 as Vice President of Human Resources, Ellis has significantly enhanced the organization through focused employee recruitment and retention efforts.
“Julie’s dedication to fostering a positive workplace culture and her strategic approach to human resources have been invaluable to our organization. We are grateful for her commitment to Inspira, as she remains a vital contributor to our journey forward,” said Amy Mansue, President & CEO of Inspira Health. “Julie’s leadership has been key in earning Inspira Health recognition as a Top Workplace, and I am confident she will continue to drive excellence and foster organizational growth in her new role. Our greatest asset is our people, and we look forward to the positive impact Julie will have on our employees and the communities we serve.”
Since joining Inspira, Ellis has enhanced the organization by focusing on employee recruitment and retention, driving best-in-class workplace initiatives, and forging significant partnerships with the business community and other stakeholders. Her leadership has consistently earned Inspira the designation as a top place to work in the region.
“I am honored to step into this role and ensure that Inspira continues to foster a supportive and inclusive workplace where our employees can thrive,” said Ellis. “Anneliese has made a significant impact on our employees, and I look forward to propelling the work she did and fulfilling the goals of this position while advancing the health care needs of our communities. I am grateful for the trust and support from the leadership team and am eager to build on our successes to further enhance the employee experience.”
Ellis holds a Bachelor of the Arts in labor and industrial relations from Pennsylvania State University, as well as a Master’s degree in business administration from Rutgers University. She also has a Senior Certified Professional Certification from the Society for Human Resources Management, where she is an active member.
Through her new role, Ellis is positioned to further cultivate Inspira’s commitment to excellence. As Anneliese McMenamin transitions into retirement, she will work with Ellis to support a smooth and effective handover.
