SAN MATEO, Calif.– Biograph, the world’s most advanced preventive health and diagnostics clinic, today announced its formal public launch and mission to drive meaningful advances in human healthspan and lifespan. Biograph takes an evidence-based approach to precision medicine, collecting over 1,000 data points from up to 30+ evaluations, to provide the industry’s most personalized care plan for its members. The company is currently operating in the San Francisco Bay Area with plans to expand globally and open its second clinic in New York City in Q1 2025.

“Inspired by one of my best friend’s cancer diagnosis, Biograph was founded on the belief that with the proper application of advanced medical technology and early detection, we can save lives,” said John Hering, co-founder of Biograph. “There is no greater investment we can make in the future, as individuals or humanity, than in our health. With an approach rooted in scientific evidence, Biograph is poised to be an integral catalyst helping to redefine what it means to live a better and longer life.”

Combining the latest in medical research and innovation, point-in-time assessments, and ongoing testing and advising, Biograph is pioneering a new era of healthcare focused on prevention, early disease detection, and quality-of-life improvements. Since opening its first clinic, more than 15% of Biograph members have reported they have discovered urgent or life-altering health insights – from cancer to cardiovascular and neurodegenerative diseases.

Co-founded by Peter Attia, MD, and author of Outlive: The Science and Art of Longevity, Biograph empowers members to take full control of their health, assessing risk and insights across five critical health pillars: atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, metabolic dysfunction, brain health and neurodegenerative disease, cancer risk and early detection, and quality of life metrics. Biograph’s approach precisely triangulates actionable insights across all five pillars alongside an individual’s personal goals and medical history.

The preventive healthcare market is expected to reach $773.1 billion by 2034, driven in part by the paradigm shift away from a traditional treatment-focused health system to one that supports prevention and proactively identifies the root causes of aging. Biograph has built programs that exist nowhere else in the market to meet these evolving demands.

“Diagnostics are foundational to evaluating and implementing an effective health strategy informed by a systems-based approach, as well as comprehensive analyses that consider each data point within the context of an individual’s entire health picture,” said Attia. “Biograph’s evaluation is best in class, which is why I recommend my patients start here.”

Biograph’s assessment protocol has been meticulously refined by Dr. Michael Doney, an emergency medicine physician turned precision longevity clinician and researcher, to revolutionize traditional approaches to healthcare. The member experience, deployed in a thoughtfully curated, concierge setting, is executed by a robust team of medical experts at the forefront of preventive care, specially trained to provide an unrivaled member experience.

“My transition from emergency medicine to the preventive health field stemmed from a conviction that patients deserve a more comprehensive understanding of their health and well-being. Recognizing the variability in quality among health tests, scans, and assessments, I was drawn to Biograph’s mission,” said Doney, Biograph’s executive medical director. “We are committed to providing the most in-depth analysis of a broad range of health factors, enabling members to not only extend their lifespan but, more importantly, to optimize their healthspan and overall quality of life.”

Biograph currently offers two membership levels: Core, which offers an unparalleled point-in-time assessment of health, and Black, providing the deepest insights. Both were designed to meet members’ individual needs, overall focusing on optimizing healthspan and extending lifespan in a meaningful way.
