Franklin, Mass.— Amsino International has expanded its U.S. footprint with the opening of a new medical device manufacturing and research facility in Franklin, Massachusetts, a move that will double the company’s North American production capacity.
The newly established site, Amsino Scientific Inc.—referred to as the “Boston Site”—will serve as a hub for manufacturing and innovation. It will focus on producing the Sentinel Enteral Feeding Pump, a product line Amsino recently acquired from Alcor Scientific, Inc. The facility will also support research and development operations to enhance product quality and innovation.
“This strengthens our manufacturing capabilities in the United States and reinforces our dedication to providing high-quality, life-enhancing medical devices to patients and healthcare providers around the world,” said Dr. Richard Y. Lee, Chairman and CEO of Amsino International.
Dr. Mei Zhang, Vice President of Engineering at Amsino, will lead operations at the new site. “At the heart of our team is a shared mission: to manufacture innovative and reliable solutions to improve the safety and effectiveness of patient care,” she said.
Amsino commemorated the launch with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 4, celebrating what the company called a major milestone in its continued growth and commitment to global healthcare innovation.
