LEXINGTON, Mass. — Fujifilm Healthcare Americas Corporation will present its latest advances in endoscopic imaging and endosurgical solutions at the 2025 Digestive Disease Week (DDW) annual conference, taking place May 4–6 in San Diego. The company’s exhibit at booth #4729 will feature hands-on demonstrations and clinical insights from leading endoscopists, offering attendees an in-depth look at Fujifilm’s expanding portfolio of gastrointestinal imaging technologies.

The highlight of Fujifilm’s showcase includes two newly launched state-of-the-art gastroscopes, a next-generation double balloon enteroscopy scope, and advanced tools in endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and Third Space Endoscopy. These innovations are designed to address the evolving needs of physicians while enhancing diagnostic accuracy and procedural efficiency.

Tai Fujita, Vice President of Fujifilm’s Endoscopy Division, emphasized the importance of clinical collaboration in shaping the company’s product development. “Our endoscopic imaging product strategy is aligned with the needs of physicians, and it’s the continuous customer collaboration that drives our product innovation,” Fujita said. “We’re looking forward to showcasing the breadth of our portfolio, including the powerful new scopes in our next generation 800 series. DDW attendees will also learn more about CAD EYE and SCALE EYE—AI and virtual visualization innovations that are empowering GI physicians to gain greater visualization and measurement of adenomas during colonoscopy.”

Among the technologies on display will be the EN-840T Double Balloon Enteroscopy scope, which provides access to the entire small intestine for both diagnosis and treatment. This new model represents a significant upgrade to Fujifilm’s pioneering enteroscopy platform, expanding its clinical reach.

Also featured are the EG-840T and EG-840TP gastroscopes, designed for upper GI procedures with a 3.2mm working channel and expanded angulation capabilities, offering improved versatility and visualization.

In the field of endoscopic ultrasound, the company will showcase the EG-740UT curved linear EUS scope, which works with both the Arietta 850 and SU-1 Platinum processors. This scope offers an ample puncture range and a 4.0mm working channel, enabling compatibility with larger devices and double guidewire techniques. The placement of the objective lens behind the elevator allows the scope to provide the most forward-viewing perspective available for therapeutic applications.

Fujifilm will also spotlight innovations designed to enhance colonoscopy. These include the ELUXEO LED Multi-Light Imaging system, now integrated with CAD EYE, SCALE EYE, and the G-EYE 700 Series Colonoscope. CAD EYE provides real-time AI-based detection of mucosal lesions during colonoscopy, while SCALE EYE is a first-of-its-kind technology for in vivo measurement of colonic lesions. The G-EYE 700 Series, developed by Smart Medical, supports enhanced visualization, stabilization, and control during procedures.

Fujifilm’s presence at DDW 2025 underscores its continued commitment to innovation in gastrointestinal imaging and its goal of equipping clinicians with tools that enhance patient outcomes across a wide range of digestive health procedures.
