WESTBOROUGH, Mass. — HOPE Community Medicine, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving East Texas, is reporting major improvements in patient care and provider efficiency after implementing Sunoh.ai, an AI-powered medical scribe integrated with the eClinicalWorks electronic health record (EHR) system.

The partnership between eClinicalWorks and Sunoh.ai has enabled HOPE’s 14 behavioral health providers to significantly reduce the time spent on clinical documentation. The result: deeper patient engagement, more efficient workflows, and the ability to serve more patients each day without compromising care quality.

“Sunoh.ai has transformed our approach to healthcare, particularly in the realm of behavioral health,” said Jacob Bragg, IT Specialist at HOPE. “Our counselors, who were once overwhelmed with paperwork, can now fully concentrate on their patients. The tool has made it possible for them to maintain eye contact, observe body language, and build stronger patient-provider relationships.”

HOPE Community Medicine offers a wide range of services, including medical, behavioral health, and OBGYN care. As an FQHC, the organization is committed to delivering accessible, affordable healthcare regardless of a patient’s ability to pay. Services also include support for translation, transportation, insurance enrollment, and flexible payment plans.

Bragg noted that prior to adopting the AI scribe, the burden of documentation had forced the clinic to limit its daily patient volume. Now, providers can document sessions more quickly and accurately, allowing for both an increase in patient appointments and improved continuity of care. “We can now effectively track patient progress, review previous sessions quickly, and make more informed treatment decisions,” he said.

The seamless integration of Sunoh.ai with eClinicalWorks’ cloud-based EHR platform has proven to be a powerful combination for enhancing behavioral health workflows. The AI tool captures and transcribes medical conversations in real time, eliminating the need for manual note-taking and freeing providers to focus fully on their patients.

“We are proud to partner with HOPE Community Medicine in their mission to deliver the best patient care,” said Girish Navani, CEO and co-founder of eClinicalWorks. “The integration with Sunoh.ai exemplifies how our AI-driven solutions can streamline clinical operations while enhancing the provider-patient connection.”

eClinicalWorks, known as one of the largest cloud EHR providers in the ambulatory space, continues to lead the adoption of AI technologies that improve healthcare efficiency and outcomes. The success at HOPE Community Medicine underscores the growing impact of intelligent digital tools in empowering providers and improving access to high-quality care across underserved communities.
