SAN FRANCISCORescale, a leading digital engineering platform, has secured $115 million in Series D funding to accelerate the development of its AI-driven technology aimed at transforming how enterprises innovate and design products.

The new round includes backing from major investors such as NVIDIA, Foxconn, Hitachi Ventures, Applied Ventures, and others, bringing Rescale’s total funding to over $260 million. Early investors include notable names like Sam Altman, Jeff Bezos, Paul Graham, and Peter Thiel.

Rescale’s platform integrates high-performance computing (HPC), intelligent data management, and applied AI into a unified system. It’s designed to eliminate bottlenecks that slow down innovation, such as limited computing resources, siloed data, and complex AI integration.

“Our future breakthroughs are limited not by imagination, but by the speed at which engineers and scientists can turn ideas into reality,” said Rescale CEO Joris Poort. “Rescale removes the barriers that slow down innovation.”

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang called accelerated computing “the engine of the AI industrial revolution,” noting that Rescale’s integration of NVIDIA’s full software and infrastructure stack is helping industries advance at an unprecedented pace.

The funding comes as enterprises invest heavily in HPC, product lifecycle data management, and simulation tools—markets collectively worth over $100 billion. Rescale aims to simplify how these technologies are deployed across R&D teams in industries such as aerospace, automotive, life sciences, and defense.

Trusted by customers like Samsung, General Motors Motorsports, and the U.S. Department of Defense, Rescale supports use cases ranging from drug discovery to crash simulations and digital twin development.

Applied Materials CTO Dr. Om Nalamasu highlighted Rescale’s value in accelerating AI-based physics simulations, saying the company’s platform is “catalyzing adoption” of digital twin technologies.

With this latest investment, Rescale plans to scale its capabilities and expand access to its platform, helping engineers and scientists bring next-generation products to market faster and more efficiently.
