Jacksonville, FL — SK Capital Partners has announced the sale of Florachem Corporation to Tradebe Life Sciences, a global company focused on sustainability. Florachem will now become part of Tradebe’s Life Sciences division, which aims to create a circular economy by producing and purifying essential ingredients.
Florachem, based in Jacksonville, is known for making natural extracts and ingredients. Since SK Capital acquired the company in 2022, Florachem has grown significantly, including building a new food-grade manufacturing facility in Lakeland, Florida.
Jon Borell, Managing Director at SK Capital, praised the Florachem team and said the deal marks a strong step forward for the company. Florachem CEO Jon Leonard said the move will help the company grow faster and improve its ability to serve customers.
Tradebe Life Sciences CEO Oscar Creixell said he is excited to bring Florachem into the group and expand their global reach.
Financial and legal advisors on the deal included Alantra, Goodwin Procter, Clotilde Ltd, and Robinson & Cole.
