Vizient Appoints Dan Salzman as Chief Marketing Officer

IRVING, Texas– Vizient, the nation’s leading healthcare performance improvement company, has announced the appointment of Dan Salzman as its new Chief Marketing Officer. In his new role, Salzman will lead the company’s go-to-market strategy with a focus on enhancing client value and accelerating strategic growth.

“Dan brings a unique blend of expertise in commercial marketing, digital engagement, and data-driven decision-making across both consumer and B2B sectors,” said Vizient CEO Byron Jobe. “His leadership will strengthen our efforts as we work alongside healthcare clients and suppliers to transform care delivery across the U.S.”

Salzman joins Vizient from HP, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President and Business Unit CMO for the $4.5 billion Workforce Solutions division. During his 16-year tenure at HP, he held multiple global and regional leadership positions, including Global Head of Media, Insights and Data Science, and CMO for the Americas.

Before his time at HP, Salzman held marketing leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson, following earlier career experience at Kraft Foods and Quaker Oats. He holds a Ph.D. in Social/Personality Psychology from Lehigh University and a B.S. in Experimental Psychology from Liberty University.

With his appointment, Salzman joins Vizient’s executive leadership team as the company continues to expand its role in advancing performance improvement and innovation across the healthcare industry.
