Chicago — Adtalem Global Education has named Megan Noel as its new Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, tasking the veteran communications strategist with leading the company’s stakeholder engagement and corporate affairs functions as it continues to grow its influence in healthcare education.
In her new role, Noel will oversee communications, investor and government relations, impact initiatives, and alumni engagement across Adtalem’s portfolio, which includes nearly 10,000 employees, 94,000 students, and 350,000 alumni. She joins Adtalem’s senior leadership team and will report directly to Chairman and CEO Steve Beard.
“Megan is a singular talent—a visionary leader with an unmatched ability to build credible influence and align internal narratives with external realities,” said Beard. “Her appointment marks a pivotal step in our journey to distinguish our institutions and drive sustained growth in a dynamic market.”
Noel brings more than 20 years of corporate affairs experience, including senior roles in both in-house and agency settings. She most recently served as global president of corporate affairs at Golin and was part of the agency’s executive leadership team. Prior to that, she led corporate affairs for PwC US and Mexico, where she oversaw media relations, public affairs, internal communications, crisis management, and brand strategy. She also held senior positions at Edelman, where she advised a range of clients on purpose-driven communications and reputational risk.
“I’m thrilled to join Adtalem during this pivotal growth period,” Noel said. “By unifying our stakeholder engagement strategy, we’ll deepen relationships with investors, policymakers, healthcare partners, alumni, and communities. I’m especially excited about our mission to expand access to knowledge that transforms lives and careers—helping to address the healthcare provider gap in the U.S.”
Noel has been recognized as a Top Woman in PR by PR News and was named to PR Week’s 40 Under 40 list. She is a member of the Arthur W. Page Society and holds a business degree from Georgetown University.
