NEWTON, Mass. — Axena Health, a women’s health company focused on non-invasive treatments for pelvic health, has announced that its Leva® Pelvic Health System is now accessible to female veterans across the United States through federal healthcare providers, including the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), the VA Community Care Network (CCN), and the Military Health System (MHS).

The availability of Leva through federal healthcare channels marks a significant step forward in improving access to treatment for the more than 2 million women veterans in the U.S., many of whom are disproportionately affected by urinary incontinence (UI)—a condition that remains underdiagnosed and undertreated.

“We’re proud that providers at federal healthcare facilities can now prescribe the Leva Pelvic Health System as an effective, first-line treatment for urinary incontinence,” said Randy Pritchard, CEO of Axena Health. “Leva provides a convenient, clinically proven way for women to manage UI from home, helping reduce barriers to care for a condition that too often goes untreated.”

UI affects up to 20% of female veterans, a rate influenced by unique military-related risk factors such as prolonged periods without urination and carrying heavy protective gear. These challenges compound more common factors like childbirth, menopause, and aging, placing female veterans at a particularly high risk for pelvic floor disorders.

The Leva System offers a non-invasive, at-home treatment solution for urinary incontinence through guided pelvic floor muscle training. The physician-prescribed program combines an FDA-cleared medical device with a smartphone app, enabling real-time feedback, personalized coaching, educational content, and progress tracking—bringing modern technology to a traditionally under-addressed healthcare need.

Through a partnership with Lovell® Government Services, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Leva is now available on several federal procurement platforms, including the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Federal Supply Schedule (FSS), GSA Advantage, and the Department of Defense’s Distribution and Pricing Agreement (DAPA).

“Partnering with Axena Health allows us to advance technologies that directly improve women’s health,” said Chris Lovell, retired U.S. Marine Corps Major and CEO of Lovell Government Services. “Expanding access to pelvic health care for female veterans is not just important—it’s necessary.”

With this federal expansion, Axena Health continues its mission to transform pelvic health care for women by providing effective, discreet, and accessible treatments. The inclusion of Leva in military and veteran healthcare systems represents a meaningful advancement in addressing a condition that affects millions of women, including those who have served.
