BOSTON — eClinical Solutions, a global provider of digital clinical trial software and services, has appointed Sean Lannan as Chief Financial Officer to help steer the company through its next phase of growth. The move comes as eClinical continues to expand its platform offerings and strengthen its position as a key player in accelerating clinical research through artificial intelligence and risk-based strategies.

Lannan brings more than three decades of experience in financial strategy and operational leadership across the healthcare, education, and digital technology sectors. He previously served as CFO at learning platform Litmos and most recently worked as a strategic finance consultant for institutional growth investors. At eClinical Solutions, he will oversee global finance operations and capital allocation, including potential M&A activities to support the company’s organic growth.

“Sean is a veteran industry leader with a strong record of scaling technology companies,” said Raj Indupuri, CEO and co-founder of eClinical Solutions. “As the biopharma industry looks to compress clinical trial timelines, his leadership will help us deliver the full value of our elluminate® platform and deepen our AI capabilities to meet growing customer needs.”

In addition to Lannan’s appointment, eClinical Solutions also announced that technology executive Jason Blessing has joined its Board of Directors. Blessing, a seasoned CEO and investor with over 30 years of software industry experience, is expected to contribute to strategic planning and value creation as the company navigates rapid growth.

“I’m excited to bring both strategic and hands-on financial expertise to eClinical Solutions,” said Lannan. “The company’s mission to reduce clinical trial complexity and deliver data-driven innovation aligns with my background and passion for helping technology-enabled businesses scale.”

The appointments come on the heels of a strong year for eClinical Solutions, which reported a 34% year-over-year increase in software growth, added 20 new clients, and now works with 16 of the top 50 global pharmaceutical companies. These milestones underscore the company’s growing influence in shaping the future of digital clinical trials.
