BOSTON — Silversmith Capital Partners has announced that Lidiane Jones, the former CEO of Slack and Bumble, has joined the firm as a Senior Advisor. Jones brings over two decades of experience in technology leadership, product innovation, and enterprise-scale operations to the Boston-based growth equity firm.

Jones, who most recently led Bumble, previously served as CEO of Slack following its acquisition by Salesforce. During her tenure at Slack, she oversaw the company’s integration into Salesforce and led key initiatives, including the adoption of generative AI in workplace collaboration tools. Before leading Slack, she held several senior roles at Salesforce, including Executive Vice President and General Manager of its Commerce Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud divisions.

Her earlier career includes four years at Sonos, where she managed software product experiences, and a 13-year tenure at Microsoft, where she began as a software engineer on Excel and advanced to leadership roles across Office, Azure Machine Learning, and enterprise systems. She also played a significant role in post-acquisition integrations during her time at Microsoft.

At Silversmith, Jones will offer strategic guidance and industry insight to the firm and its portfolio companies, supporting founders and executives navigating the growth phase of their businesses.

“Having known Lidiane for many years, I’ve long admired her technical expertise, product intuition, and ability to lead at scale,” said Jim Quagliaroli, Managing Partner at Silversmith Capital Partners. “We’re thrilled to welcome her to Silversmith and look forward to the impact she will have across our portfolio.”

Jones expressed enthusiasm about her new role, stating, “It’s an exciting time to be working with growth-stage companies as they lead, scale, and innovate. I’m honored to join Silversmith and look forward to supporting entrepreneurs who are building the next generation of market-leading technology businesses.”
