Lexington, Mass.— FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation has renewed and expanded its partnership with the National Rural Health Association (NRHA) to support medical imaging access in rural areas across the United States. The company has been selected as a Platinum Partner for a second consecutive three-year term, reflecting its continued leadership in delivering advanced imaging solutions tailored to rural healthcare settings.
The collaboration aims to enhance patient care in underserved communities by equipping rural hospitals with state-of-the-art imaging technologies such as MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography, digital radiography, endoscopy, and enterprise imaging systems.
“At Fujifilm, we believe everyone should have high-quality medical imaging and care close to home,” said Shawn Etheridge, executive director of modality solutions marketing at Fujifilm. “It’s a privilege to extend our longstanding partnership with NRHA and continue supporting rural hospitals by delivering solutions that improve diagnostics and care delivery.”
Fujifilm’s support includes not only access to advanced imaging systems but also customized purchasing and marketing programs designed specifically for rural providers. These include low capital impact financing options and community outreach tools to raise awareness about the importance of routine screenings and diagnostics.
“Access to high-quality imaging shouldn’t depend on your zip code,” said Kodi Smith, Director of Rural Partnerships and Leadership Development at NRHA’s Service Corporation. “We value the continued involvement of organizations like Fujifilm that provide rural healthcare providers with the tools and technology they need to keep care local.”
Through this renewed partnership, Fujifilm and NRHA aim to strengthen local health systems by improving diagnostic capabilities, supporting healthcare workforce recruitment, and ensuring that patients in rural areas can receive comprehensive care without needing to travel far from home.
