NEW YORK — Mind Medicine (MindMed) Inc. has named Brandi L. Roberts as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective June 2, 2025. Roberts, a seasoned financial executive with more than 25 years of experience in the life sciences sector, will oversee the company’s financial strategy, capital planning, accounting, investor relations, and information technology. She joins MindMed’s executive leadership team as the company advances clinical and commercial efforts for its lead drug candidate, MM120, an orally disintegrating tablet being developed for generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) and major depressive disorder (MDD).

Roberts arrives at a critical time for the late-stage biopharmaceutical firm, as it prepares for potential commercialization milestones and scales its operations. “Brandi joins MindMed at a pivotal moment for the company, bringing with her a powerful combination of financial acumen, strategic vision, and deep biotech sector expertise,” said Rob Barrow, CEO of MindMed. “Her proven track record leading public companies through IPOs, business development, and investor engagement will be instrumental as we accelerate toward the launch of MM120 ODT.”

Before joining MindMed, Roberts served as CFO and Executive Vice President at Longboard Pharmaceuticals, where she helped lead the company through its IPO, secured multiple rounds of financing, and played a key role in its $2.6 billion acquisition by Lundbeck in 2024. Her previous leadership roles include CFO positions at Lineage Cell Therapeutics, REVA Medical, and Mast Therapeutics. She has also held senior finance roles at Alphatec Spine, Artes Medical, Stratagene Corporation, and Pfizer.

“MindMed is leading a true paradigm shift in mental health treatment, and I’m excited to join a team with such depth in drug development and commitment to innovation,” said Roberts. “With MM120 ODT, the company is advancing a potential breakthrough for millions suffering from GAD and MDD. I look forward to helping build a strategic financial foundation that supports continued growth, agility, and access as we work to make a meaningful impact in the mental health space.”

Roberts earned her MBA from the University of San Diego and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Arizona. She is a Certified Public Accountant in California and actively contributes to the life sciences community through advisory roles with Life Science Cares San Diego and the Association of Bioscience Financial Officers Southwest chapter.

As part of her appointment, MindMed’s board has approved inducement equity awards consisting of options to purchase 500,000 common shares and 125,000 performance share units (PSUs), which will vest based on tenure and performance metrics. These grants were made outside of MindMed’s standard equity incentive plans and comply with NASDAQ inducement grant rules.

With this appointment, MindMed strengthens its executive team at a time of key clinical progress and growing investor interest in novel therapies for brain health disorders.
