NEWTON, Mass.– PDS Health, a major integrated healthcare support organization, is expanding its use of CyberArk’s identity security solutions to automate the management of digital certificates and strengthen its cybersecurity infrastructure.

CyberArk, a global leader in identity security, announced the expansion on Wednesday, revealing that PDS Health will implement CyberArk’s Zero Touch PKI and Certificate Manager. These tools will enable PDS Health to modernize its public key infrastructure (PKI) and automate certificate lifecycle management (CLM), giving the company visibility into certificates across its digital environment and helping it avoid costly service outages due to expired credentials.

PDS Health, which supports more than 1,000 dental and primary care practices across the United States, has long relied on CyberArk to manage both human and machine identities throughout its systems. The expanded deployment will now include tools to secure and manage Transport Layer Security (TLS) certificates, which encrypt website traffic and verify site authenticity.

“With tens of millions of dollars in revenue processed daily, any certificate-related outage would be highly disruptive,” said Nemi George, Vice President of IT and Chief Information Security Officer at PDS Health. “As our use of TLS certificates continues to grow, we recognized the need to automate their management. CyberArk’s new tools provide that automation while increasing visibility and compliance.”

The move comes as organizations face mounting challenges in managing the rapid proliferation and shorter lifespans of TLS certificates. Relying on manual processes for tracking and renewing certificates has become increasingly untenable for large-scale enterprises, posing risks to both security and service continuity.

CyberArk’s machine identity security solutions will now allow PDS Health’s cybersecurity team to automatically discover, monitor, and renew certificates across the organization. The platform also provides centralized oversight for enforcing global security policies and meeting compliance standards.

“Since 2019, we’ve worked closely with PDS Health to address their identity security needs,” said Kurt Sand, General Manager of Machine Identity Security at CyberArk. “As certificate volume grows and new challenges like post-quantum cryptography emerge, we’re committed to helping them stay secure and resilient.”

The partnership aligns with PDS Health’s broader strategy to integrate medical and dental services while maintaining robust digital security and reliability.
