WALTHAM, Mass. — Revvity Inc. has introduced the IDS i20™, a new fully automated diagnostic platform developed by its EUROIMMUN division. Designed to enhance efficiency in specialty testing, the IDS i20 allows laboratories to process a wide range of chemiluminescence immunoassays (ChLIA) on a single system, offering increased throughput, flexibility, and automation.
The IDS i20 is CE marked and FDA listed, and supports up to 20 analytes from six diagnostic specialties simultaneously, including endocrinology, allergy, autoimmune diseases, infectious diseases, Alzheimer’s disease, and therapeutic drug monitoring. It marks a significant step forward for labs traditionally reliant on manual or semi-automated processes for these specialized tests.

The IDS i20 can process up to 140 tests per hour, depending on the assay, making it one of the most efficient options available for specialty diagnostic testing. The system also includes advanced software designed with modern usability and cybersecurity standards, offering adaptability and scalability to accommodate evolving lab requirements.
Key features of the IDS i20 platform include continuous sample and reagent loading, integrated cooling for ready-to-use reagent cartridges, and minimal hands-on operation. These capabilities aim to reduce workflow interruptions and allow for consistent, high-throughput testing.
The IDS i20 is the latest addition to EUROIMMUN’s IDS i-device series, building on more than five decades of experience in laboratory automation and medical device innovation. With its launch, Revvity continues to position itself at the forefront of specialty diagnostics technology.
