WALTHAM, Mass. — Trinity Life Sciences has announced a strategic partnership with Ontada, a McKesson business specializing in real-world oncology data and clinical decision support, aimed at transforming how life sciences companies approach commercialization in the community oncology space.

The collaboration brings together Trinity’s advanced commercial analytics and Ontada’s robust oncology data platform, including the proprietary iKnowMed® electronic health record system. By integrating these capabilities, the partnership aims to deliver real-time, actionable insights that improve provider outreach, patient care, and overall commercial strategy for life sciences organizations.

The initiative targets one of the most complex challenges in oncology: understanding and reaching patients and providers in community-based cancer care. The partnership will enable more precise provider segmentation, faster and more accurate forecasting, and enhanced customer engagement strategies. These capabilities are expected to support better outcomes for both commercial teams and patients.

“Community oncology presents unique challenges for commercial teams trying to promote life-saving therapies,” said Leslie Orne, President and CEO of Trinity Life Sciences. “By combining Ontada’s deep oncology data with our analytical expertise, we’re unlocking powerful insights that drive more effective decision-making and, ultimately, improve patient care.”

Trinity, known for its strength in forecasting, real-world evidence, and AI-enhanced analytics, will integrate its tools with Ontada’s datasets drawn from more than 2.4 million patient records covering over 80 tumor types. Ontada’s iKnowMed® EHR is used by over 2,400 community-based oncology providers nationwide, offering a uniquely comprehensive view of cancer care outside academic medical centers.

Christine Davis, President of Ontada, emphasized the urgency of innovation in oncology: “There is a critical need for faster insights in cancer care. Our partnership with Trinity underscores our commitment to accelerating answers to important questions. By combining our data with Trinity’s analytics, we’re delivering deeper, more actionable insights to our life sciences partners—and, by extension, to the patients they serve.”

The alliance highlights a growing trend in the healthcare industry: leveraging real-world data and AI-powered tools to support smarter, faster decision-making in the commercialization of precision therapies.
