Next Generation WHOOP® 5.0 and WHOOP® MG

Boston, Mass.– WHOOP has unveiled its next-generation wearable devices, WHOOP 5.0 and WHOOP MG, marking a major leap in personal health and performance tracking. The launch introduces a series of advanced health monitoring features aimed at helping users not only live longer but live better.

The new devices come in a sleeker design, seven percent smaller than previous models, and boast a 14-day battery life. Both are part of a broader relaunch of the WHOOP platform, which now includes new tools such as Healthspan with WHOOP Age, an on-demand ECG Heart Screener, and Blood Pressure Insights—positioning the devices as more than just fitness trackers, but as tools for long-term health optimization.

“This isn’t just a product launch. It’s a new chapter for WHOOP and for our members,” said WHOOP founder and CEO Will Ahmed. “We’ve taken everything we’ve learned over the past decade and built a platform to help our members perform and live at their peak for longer.”

WHOOP’s latest features aim to move beyond surface-level activity tracking, delivering data-driven insights into how daily behaviors impact long-term health. The company says its approach allows users to make more informed choices about recovery, sleep, and fitness with the goal of extending their healthspan—the period of life spent in good health.

In addition to the new hardware and health tools, WHOOP has also rolled out three new membership tiers to make its offerings more accessible and customizable.

The launch comes at a time when healthcare systems face mounting costs and inefficiencies, with growing consumer demand for more proactive, personalized approaches to wellness. WHOOP is positioning itself as a solution to that gap by empowering users to take control of their health with clinically relevant data in real time.
