EFFECT Photonics Secures $24 Million More in Series D, Total Funding Reaches $62 Million

Maynard, Mass. — EFFECT Photonics has raised an additional $24 million in its Series D funding round, bringing the total to $62 million as the company pushes forward with plans to scale its optical networking technology.

The new capital comes from existing investors, signaling continued confidence in the company’s development of next-generation coherent optical solutions for data centers, AI infrastructure, and edge networks.

EFFECT Photonics CEO Roberto Marcoccia said the funding reflects growing demand for high-speed, high-capacity networking. “This milestone allows us to aggressively execute our roadmap to meet the evolving needs of the optical interconnect market,” he said.

The funding round follows recent technical and commercial gains for the company, which is positioning itself to support the increasing data requirements of AI-driven systems and edge computing through compact, high-performance optical modules.
