TYLER, Texas – ENvue Medical, a division of NanoVibronix, Inc. (NASDAQ: NAOV), has been granted a new U.S. patent for its pediatric feeding tube guidance system, marking a significant milestone as the company moves toward regulatory clearance for pediatric use. The patent, titled “Insertion Device Positioning Guidance System” (U.S. Patent No. 12,324,632), strengthens ENvue’s intellectual property portfolio and underscores its commitment to advancing safer, more precise enteral access technologies.

The patented system is designed to assist clinicians in navigating the complexities of feeding tube placement in pediatric patients—a population with unique anatomical challenges. By offering real-time navigational data, the technology supports accurate tube positioning, potentially reducing the need for confirmatory imaging like X-rays and improving overall procedural efficiency.

Each year, approximately 400,000 preterm infants and many more pediatric patients in critical care, surgical recovery, and chronic care settings undergo feeding tube placement in the United States. These procedures amount to more than 1.5 million annually, representing a U.S. market opportunity exceeding $150 million in capital systems and consumables.

“We believe the addressable market for our pediatric navigation platform is substantial,” said Dr. Doron Besser, CEO of ENvue Medical. “This patent reflects our commitment to developing precise, real-time solutions tailored to the unique needs of pediatric patients. We’re focused on expanding clinical capabilities and addressing long-standing challenges in enteral access.”

The new technology builds on ENvue Medical’s existing Enhanced Navigation (EN) platform, which uses electromagnetic tracking to enable real-time visualization of feeding tube placement. The system is already FDA-cleared for adult use, and the company plans to seek 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for pediatric applications.

With this latest patent, ENvue Medical is positioned to broaden its impact in enteral care by offering clinicians a safer, more reliable way to perform feeding tube insertions in vulnerable pediatric populations.
