New York — Improzo has announced the appointment of Jane Urban as Chief Data & Analytics Officer (CDAO), effective June 2, 2025. Urban will report directly to Chief Technology Officer Abhishek Trigunait and join the company’s Executive Team, signaling Improzo’s deepening commitment to data-driven transformation in the commercial life sciences sector.
In her new role, Urban will lead Improzo’s global data and analytics strategy, with a focus on next-generation technologies, including generative AI, advanced analytics, and omnichannel engagement. Her mandate includes harnessing data to deliver actionable insights, enhance decision-making, and accelerate innovation across the company’s solutions.
Urban brings extensive experience in biopharma, digital transformation, and analytics. Prior to joining Improzo, she served as Vice President of Customer Engagement Operations at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.), where she spearheaded initiatives integrating data science, commercial operations, and digital strategy to improve patient and provider experiences. She previously held senior roles at Takeda Pharmaceuticals, including Vice President and Head of Data, Digital, and Technology for Global Medical and Commercial, where she played a pivotal role in shaping global digital engagement and data strategies.

She also serves on CDO Magazine’s global board.
Her academic credentials include a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Brown University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. She is known for her strong leadership and passion for using technology to create measurable impact.
