RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – IQVIA (NYSE: IQV), a global leader in clinical research and healthcare data analytics, has introduced a new suite of AI agents designed to streamline operations and accelerate insights across the life sciences and healthcare sectors. The announcement was made at NVIDIA’s GTC event in Paris and marks a major step in IQVIA’s efforts to integrate advanced AI technology into critical industry workflows.

Developed in collaboration with NVIDIA, the AI agents are built on agentic architectures that apply IQVIA’s deep domain expertise alongside NVIDIA’s powerful development tools, including NeMo Customizer for model fine-tuning, NeMo Guardrails for responsible AI deployment, and NIM Agent Blueprints for rapid prototyping. These tools are aimed at driving efficiency across drug development, clinical trials, and commercial strategies.

“Our collaboration with NVIDIA represents a pivotal opportunity to deliver precise and efficient workflows tailored for the life sciences industry,” said Bhavik Patel, President of IQVIA Commercial Solutions. “By combining our industry knowledge with cutting-edge AI, we’re creating smarter solutions that benefit patients, researchers, and healthcare providers around the world.”

The AI agents will assist with a range of functions including target identification, clinical and literature reviews, market analysis, and healthcare professional (HCP) engagement. These capabilities are intended to help life sciences organizations reduce time-to-market, optimize decision-making, and streamline complex processes across the product lifecycle.

“Every moment counts in clinical development, from early discovery to commercialization,” said Kimberly Powell, Vice President of Healthcare at NVIDIA. “By working with IQVIA, we’re able to create AI agents that deliver domain-specific precision and operational speed—such as accelerating literature reviews—that can significantly impact thousands of IQVIA clients worldwide.”

This initiative follows the strategic collaboration announced in January between IQVIA and NVIDIA to develop AI models and agentic workflows that enhance clinical development and improve access to new treatments. These AI-powered solutions are trained on IQVIA’s expansive healthcare data sets and are designed to deliver trustworthy, actionable insights to support innovation across the industry.

IQVIA will continue showcasing its AI advancements at TechIQ 2025, a two-day industry conference in London this September. The event will bring together thought leaders from across healthcare and technology, including NVIDIA, to explore the next frontier of artificial intelligence in life sciences.
