LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — MedEvolve, a leading provider of revenue cycle automation and analytics technology for healthcare organizations, has named Matt Seefeld as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. The appointment marks a pivotal leadership transition aimed at accelerating the company’s innovation and market expansion. Former CEO Matt Rolfes, who has led the company since 2017, will remain in a key executive role as Chief Financial Officer.
Seefeld, a nationally recognized authority in revenue cycle management (RCM), is the architect behind MedEvolve’s Effective Intelligence® Suite—an automation and analytics platform that helps healthcare providers track, measure, and streamline every action in the claims adjudication process. His solutions have helped eliminate inefficiencies, reduce manual work, and increase accountability across the healthcare revenue cycle.
“Matt Seefeld is the right leader for MedEvolve’s future,” said Dr. William F. Hefley, Jr., founder and Chairman of the Board. “He’s not only a visionary—he’s a proven operator who understands the complex challenges facing healthcare executives today. With his deep expertise and passion for innovation, I’m confident he’ll take MedEvolve to new heights.”
Seefeld joined MedEvolve in 2017 and most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, where he was responsible for go-to-market strategy and revenue operations. His 25-year career includes founding Interpoint Partners—later acquired by Streamline Health—and holding consulting roles at firms such as Stockamp & Associates, PwC, and Deloitte.
In taking on the CEO role, Seefeld emphasized the urgency of addressing inefficiencies in the healthcare revenue cycle. “I am honored to step into the CEO role at a time when healthcare organizations are under immense pressure to claw back lost margin,” he said. “The ability to track every touch in the revenue cycle and reduce wasted work effort is no longer an option—it’s a requirement for sustainable healthcare businesses. I look forward to continuing to work with our incredible team to drive new innovations and expand our vision across the industry.”
Under his leadership, MedEvolve has already introduced new revenue cycle benchmarks that leverage human-generated data not typically captured by standard practice management or electronic health record systems. This unique data allows clients to pinpoint problem areas in their operations and implement targeted action plans to resolve them.
The leadership transition reinforces MedEvolve’s commitment to driving measurable financial results for healthcare providers by enhancing automation, transparency, and data intelligence across the revenue cycle. With Seefeld at the helm, the company plans to further invest in AI-driven capabilities and expand its reach across hospitals, physician practices, and outsourced medical billing services.
