REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — Somnics Health has launched a new initiative aimed at making its innovative iNAP Sleep Therapy System more accessible to Americans suffering from obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). The new program, called iNAP Essentials, offers the FDA-cleared device for $58 per month over a 24-month period, including the initial therapy kit, three months of supplies, free shipping, and personalized coaching.
Designed for individuals with all severities of OSA, the iNAP system provides a mask-free alternative to traditional CPAP machines, using gentle negative pressure to maintain an open airway during sleep. Unlike CPAP devices, iNAP does not rely on forced air or bulky masks. Instead, it creates a light vacuum in the oral cavity, shifting soft tissues to prevent airway obstruction. The compact system is quiet, travel-friendly, and powered by a rechargeable battery that can last up to five nights.
Olivier Lauzeral, General Manager of Somnics Health, emphasized the company’s commitment to addressing the affordability barrier that often prevents patients from pursuing or continuing OSA treatment. “The OSA treatment landscape is no longer CPAP-only. iNAP is effective, comfortable, and discreet—and now, more affordable than ever,” Lauzeral said. “With iNAP Essentials, we’re removing the affordability hurdle.”
More than 50 million Americans suffer from OSA, yet an estimated 80 percent remain untreated. Many who begin treatment with CPAP abandon it due to discomfort or inconvenience. Somnics Health aims to address this gap by providing a therapy that integrates more seamlessly into daily life.
The iNAP Essentials package includes the starter kit, a mouthpiece and tubing for three months, and onboarding support from a trained iNAP Sleep Coach. Patients also gain access to a mobile app that helps track progress and share data with healthcare providers. After the initial three-month supply runs out, users can purchase refills directly from Somnics’ online store without hidden fees or long-term commitments.
“We built this program with transparency and simplicity at its core,” said Lauzeral. “It’s everything you need to start treatment—nothing you don’t.”
