PLYMOUTH, Mass. — The Vascular Care Group (TVCG), a leading provider of vascular care services across New England, has announced the appointment of Dr. Scott D. James, DO, RPVI, as its newest physician partner. Dr. James currently leads clinical services at the group’s Plymouth, Massachusetts location.
A board-certified vascular surgeon with more than 20 years of experience, Dr. James has played a key role in broadening access to advanced vascular treatments in southeastern Massachusetts since joining the practice in 2022. His areas of clinical focus include peripheral arterial disease, aortic aneurysms, complex venous disorders, and embolization therapies.
“Dr. James embodies the clinical excellence and leadership that define The Vascular Care Group,” said Dr. Christopher Kwolek, Chief Medical Officer at TVCG. “His commitment to advancing patient care and outcomes makes him a valuable addition to our partnership.”
Dr. James earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of New England and completed his surgical training at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by a vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He is known for his patient-centered approach and adherence to evidence-based care.
