SAN LEANDRO– Fellow Health, a company focused on modernizing male reproductive care, announced the close of a $24 million Series B financing round aimed at scaling its at-home semen analysis services and expanding its reach in the fertility and urology sectors.
The funding round was led by 5AM Ventures, with new participation from The Forest Road Company. This latest investment brings Fellow Health’s total capital raised to $48 million across all funding rounds. As part of the deal, Bill Burkoth, managing partner for life sciences at Forest Road, will join the company’s Board of Directors.
Fellow Health offers mail-in, clinical-grade semen testing for fertility evaluations and post-vasectomy monitoring, providing patients with private, convenient access to essential reproductive health services. The company has built a national network of more than 2,500 clinical partners and plans to expand its presence further into fertility clinics, employer-sponsored fertility benefits, and other access initiatives.
“Male reproductive health shouldn’t be reactive or inaccessible,” said Brian Hogan, CEO of Fellow Health. “We are on track to deliver over 40% year-over-year revenue growth, with a path to profitability in our fertility segment by 2026. This investment allows us to scale that vision and support both patients and providers with modern tools that work.”
Traditional male fertility testing has long relied on in-clinic procedures, which many patients find inconvenient or invasive. Fellow Health’s mail-in testing model offers an alternative that fits within patients’ schedules while reducing the workload on healthcare providers.
“Fellow Health is exactly the kind of company we look for—operating in a large, overlooked market that’s long overdue for disruption,” said Burkoth. “With over 50,000 test results delivered so far this year, they’ve proven there is real demand for a better patient experience.”
Andy Schwab, managing partner at 5AM Ventures and a Fellow Health board member, added that the company’s clinical approach to male fertility testing is helping to elevate standards across the field. “They’ve taken a traditionally overlooked segment of reproductive health and applied the same rigor and precision that occurs at a traditional clinic,” Schwab said. “The result is a platform that is shifting the standard of care.”
Fellow Health plans to use the new funding to scale its operations, accelerate innovation, and make high-quality male fertility testing more widely accessible in a growing and underserved market. (Source: IANS)
