CINCINNATI — Procter & Gamble (NYSE: PG) announced that Shailesh Jejurikar, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer, will become the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer effective January 1, 2026. He will succeed Jon Moeller, who will transition to the role of Executive Chairman on the same date.
Jejurikar has also been nominated by the Board of Directors to stand for election as a Director at P&G’s annual shareholder meeting in October 2025.
“Shailesh has been an integral part of P&G’s leadership team with substantial contributions across multiple businesses and regions,” said Joe Jimenez, Lead Director of P&G’s Board. “He is an outstanding leader, and the Company will benefit from his ongoing leadership to build on the strong foundation he has helped create.”
Jejurikar joined P&G in 1989 and has served on the company’s global leadership team since 2014. Over his career, he has held key senior roles in categories such as Fabric Care and Home Care and led operations across North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. He has also played a critical role in advancing the company’s strategies across supply chain, IT, and global business services.

Jon Moeller, who has served as CEO since 2021, will remain actively involved in the company’s leadership as Executive Chairman, where he will guide the Board and advise the CEO on strategic matters.

The leadership transition marks a continuation of P&G’s long-term strategic plan, following a period of consistent growth and transformation under Moeller’s tenure.
