DENVER — Strive Health, a national leader in value-based kidney care, has strengthened its leadership bench with the appointments of Tom Hawkes as Chief Technology Officer and Amit Trivedi as Chief Actuary. The move reflects the company’s ongoing push to enhance care delivery and outcomes through technology and data-driven innovation.

“Tom and Amit bring valuable experience in healthcare technology, actuarial science and value-based care to our team,” said Chris Riopelle, Co-Founder and CEO of Strive. “Their backgrounds are a great match for Strive’s goals as we grow and work to improve outcomes for both our patients and customers.”

In his new role, Hawkes will lead the company’s technology strategy and IT infrastructure, with a focus on advancing digital tools that support Strive’s care delivery model. He brings nearly two decades of experience across healthcare organizations, including roles as Chief Information Officer and Chief Product Officer at Caravan Health, and Senior Vice President of Product at Signify Health. At Signify, Hawkes played a key role in supporting over 200 health systems in Medicare programs and helped drive the company’s acquisitions by CVS Health. His earlier career includes leadership posts at Kaiser Permanente, Hawaii Permanente Medical Group, The Queen’s Health System, and Queen’s Clinically Integrated Physician Network.

“I’m excited to join Strive at this pivotal moment in healthcare transformation,” said Hawkes. “I look forward to helping the team leverage technology to improve patient outcomes, reduce inefficiencies and advance value-based care.”

As Chief Actuary, Trivedi will oversee Strive’s pricing, risk modeling, and financial strategy to support its scalable value-based care programs. With close to 30 years in actuarial science and medical economics, he has held leadership positions at Beacon Health Options, Prospero Health, Landmark Health, and Tomorrow Health. He also brings experience from earlier roles at Evolent Health and consulting firm Oliver Wyman.

“Joining Strive represents an opportunity to apply actuarial science in innovative ways that positively impact healthcare outcomes,” said Trivedi. “I look forward to working with this talented team to develop robust risk management strategies and pricing models that support sustainable growth so Strive can continue to transform kidney care for the better.”

The dual appointments underscore Strive Health’s mission to lead the transformation of kidney care through data science, predictive analytics, and coordinated, patient-centered models that deliver better outcomes and reduce costs.
