BOSTON — Dental AI company VideaHealth has launched a new product aimed at eliminating some of the most persistent inefficiencies in dental billing. The new platform, ClaimsAI, uses artificial intelligence to streamline the claims process, reduce denials, and recover lost revenue—addressing what the company estimates is a $15 billion annual gap in the U.S. dental industry due to revenue cycle management (RCM) inefficiencies.

ClaimsAI is designed for use by dental support organizations (DSOs), multi-location groups, and solo practices. By automating the creation of claim attachments—including clinical images and supporting documentation—it speeds up submissions, improves approval rates, and cuts down on labor costs.

Early adopters of the system have reported up to 90% faster claim submissions, thousands of dollars in monthly revenue recovery per location, and resolution of long-standing claims backlogs in as little as three weeks.

“ClaimsAI eliminates the tradeoff between speed and accuracy that practices have long struggled with,” said Florian Hillen, CEO of VideaHealth. “With just one click, practices can generate fully supported claims in minutes.”

Built on the existing VideaAI platform, ClaimsAI includes tools like an automated image selector, a real-time narrative generator tailored to each treatment, and seamless integration with most practice management systems. It also offers one-click onboarding for users already on VideaHealth’s ClinicalAI product, requiring no additional data migration or setup.

Manual claims preparation has traditionally been a slow, error-prone process requiring non-clinical staff to sift through notes and select the right materials. ClaimsAI automates this task by using AI to analyze clinical data and assemble accurate, payer-ready submissions.

Dan Pay, VideaHealth’s Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and a former executive at Change Healthcare and Optum, said that automation is becoming a critical factor as DSOs look to scale. “These tools aren’t just increasing clean claim rates—they’re introducing consistency and efficiency into workflows that have long been plagued by fragmentation,” he said.

ClaimsAI joins VideaHealth’s broader AI suite, which also includes diagnostic support tools and operational analytics. Together, the platform aims to improve both clinical care and financial performance across the dental industry.
