BOSTON– Carna Health has entered into a strategic agreement with Siemens Healthineers to expand adoption of Carna’s AI-enabled chronic kidney disease (CKD) platform and deliver point-of-care testing systems to emerging markets. The initiative is aimed at improving early detection and management of CKD in high-risk and underserved populations.
The agreement integrates Carna’s digital platform with Siemens Healthineers’ global diagnostics network to streamline CKD screening and referral pathways, with a goal of improving outcomes and reducing costs.

A CKD screening program currently underway in Bermuda and Limbe, Cameroon, is enrolling 30,000 individuals using Carna’s digital platform and Siemens Healthineers’ epoc® Blood Analysis System. Carna plans to expand global enrollment to 25 million people by 2030 and extend its platform to other cardiometabolic diseases, including diabetes.
Carna Health also serves as an authorized reseller of Siemens Healthineers diagnostic solutions for CKD-related products in key markets such as the Philippines, Bermuda and Cameroon. The company is positioning itself to lead digital CKD programs across both public and private health systems.
