DALLAS– Generational Group announced it has advised Lockwood Manufacturing Co. on its sale to Brattle Technologies. The transaction closed August 8, 2025.
Lockwood, based in Livonia, Michigan, designs and manufactures aluminum and steel equipment for the foodservice, hospitality, healthcare, industrial and laboratory sectors. Its products include racks, cabinets, carts, heat units and material handling equipment. The company also serves as an OEM manufacturing partner for industrial and scientific appliance makers, with in-house design and fabrication capabilities including laser cutting, robotic welding, powder coating and electrical assembly.
Following the acquisition, Matt Phillips was promoted from president to CEO. Former owner and CEO David Lamson will join the company’s board of directors.
Brattle Technologies, headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is a family-owned holding company that supports specialty businesses with long-term investment and operational resources. It is led by CEO Jordan Haviland, Associate Greg Mailey and Analyst Jake Berger.

Generational Group Senior Managing Director Don Ho, with support from Vice President Brennon Dunbar, led the transaction. They were assisted by Executive Managing Director Michael Goss, Senior Managing Director Brian Ault, and Senior M&A Advisor Michael Querard.
