BOSTON– Greater Boston Urology announced today that Stacy A. Giles, MBA, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer, succeeding Les Cavicchi, MPA, NHA, who is retiring after more than a decade of leadership at the organization. Giles brings over 25 years of experience in healthcare administration and oncology to the role.
Greater Boston Urology is the largest urology group in Massachusetts, with nine care centers, an interventional radiology center, and a second IR center set to open in November. The practice is affiliated with U.S. Urology Partners, a network of community-based urology practices backed by General Atlantic.

Giles noted that Greater Boston Urology provides comprehensive care across general urology, men’s and women’s health, urogynecology, and advanced treatments for prostate, bladder, kidney, and other urological cancers. The practice also offers in-house services including a urology-specific laboratory, pathology, imaging, interventional radiology, surgery, and clinical research.
Recognized for driving strategic growth and leading high-impact initiatives, Giles has overseen operations and interdisciplinary teams across hospitals and health systems. She previously served as Executive Director of the Cancer Institute at TidalHealth, managing services across multiple sites in Maryland and Delaware. Earlier, she was Associate Vice President of the Department of Medicine at UNC Health, overseeing operations of more than 600 staff and eight service lines across 14 locations.
Giles began her career in clinical oncology and oncology research. She earned an MBA with a leadership emphasis and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Franklin University. (Source: IANS)
