LOS ANGELES– Dentsply Sirona, the world’s largest diversified manufacturer of dental products and solutions, and Pearl, a leader in dental artificial intelligence, announced a partnership to integrate Pearl’s Second Opinion software into DS Core, Dentsply Sirona’s cloud-based platform. The collaboration is designed to enhance the accuracy of 2D X-ray radiologic interpretation and improve patient communication.
The integration enables the automatic exchange of 2D X-ray data between DS Core and Second Opinion, giving clinicians AI-driven insights to identify anatomical structures and detect potential concerns such as early cavities or bone loss. The system also generates annotated visualizations and measurements, serving as educational tools that can help patients better understand their conditions and treatment options.
