CHARLESTOWN, Mass.– Hallmark Health Care Solutions, a leader in workforce intelligence and enablement, announced the appointment of John Feminella as Senior Vice President of Data and Artificial Intelligence. In this newly created role, Feminella will lead enterprise-wide AI strategy to accelerate healthcare workforce transformation and deliver measurable client impact.
“Having John join the team is a pivotal step in Hallmark’s evolution to become the most strategic workforce partner in healthcare,” said Bharat Sundaram, CEO of Hallmark. “AI is no longer optional—it’s essential to transformation. John brings the clarity and technical leadership to embed intelligence across our platform, enabling us to reduce friction, deliver faster insights, and help clients make confident, data-driven decisions.”
Feminella brings more than 25 years of experience at the intersection of engineering, business, and applied intelligence. He has led initiatives spanning instant-payment networks, utility-scale sensor grids, and cloud platforms for Fortune 500 companies. His career includes leadership roles at ThoughtWorks, Pivotal, and VMware, and most recently at EY, where he helped design and scale a next-generation AI platform adopted by hundreds of clients worldwide.
At Hallmark, Feminella will oversee the integration of AI and data across the company’s workforce platforms and services. His mandate is to align a unified vision for intelligence that supports labor management, compensation optimization, and the reduction of workforce complexity.
“Healthcare organizations are under immense pressure to do more with less—and workforce complexity is one of the biggest obstacles,” said Feminella. “Hallmark is uniquely positioned to help solve that challenge. My immediate focus will be turning real-world workforce and compensation data into a strategic advantage—structuring it for insight, aligning it with predictive AI services, and embedding those tools directly into daily operations so clients can deliver effective patient care.”
The appointment comes as Hallmark continues to expand its suite of AI-driven workforce solutions in partnership with leading health systems nationwide.
