LOS ANGELES– Salt AI, a fast-rising player in contextual AI for life sciences, just bagged $10 million in fresh funding to ramp up its platform and expand into more biopharma and healthcare firms.

The round was led by Morpheus Ventures with backing from Struck Capital, Marbruck Investments, and CoreWeave. The startup plans to grow its global AI engineering teams and speed up deployment of its visual-first platform, which helps companies turn complex AI models into production-ready workflows.

Already in use across drug discovery, clinical development, and data navigation, Salt AI has been powering breakthroughs at the Ellison Medical Institute — where its tools helped advance two promising protein candidates into wet-lab testing. “No single AI model can unlock the future of medicine alone. The future belongs to ensembles,” said CEO and co-founder Aber Whitcomb.

CoreWeave’s Brian Venturo called Salt AI a perfect fit: “Our AI cloud platform is purpose-built for complex models, enabling Salt AI to run workloads quickly and reliably.”

With its drag-and-drop “Salt Matrix” and compliance-ready stack, Salt AI is pitching itself as the go-to bridge between scientists and technologists in a sector racing to put AI at the heart of healthcare innovation. (Source: IANS)
