SALT LAKE CITY– Spectrum Health Science, the company known for its breakthrough COVID-19 saliva tests and now expanding into next-generation solutions in oral, functional and women’s health, today announced the appointment of Damon Silvestry as Chief Executive Officer of SimplyTest, its flagship salivary testing company serving healthcare providers.
Silvestry brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across operations, commercial strategy, supply chain and organizational transformation. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Caelum Diagnostics, a company developing real-time biopsy diagnostics powered by advanced imaging and AI. Prior to that, he held senior roles at Progenity, Natera, Caris Life Sciences, Miraca Life Sciences and Ellie Diagnostics, where he managed large-scale teams, drove operational improvements and implemented Lean Six Sigma practices.

As part of the leadership transition, Justin Hunt will take on the role of President of Spectrum Health Science, where he will focus on broadening the company’s strategic platform, driving innovation and fostering integration across its expanding portfolio of provider-focused health solutions.
