BOSTON– Wearable tech powerhouse WHOOP is beefing up its leadership ranks with two big hires: Johan Liden as Chief Creative Officer and Jason Lynch as Chief Administrative and Legal Officer.

The appointments come hot on the heels of the launch of WHOOP 5.0 and WHOOP MG, which rolled out new hardware, tiered memberships, and upcoming Advanced Labs health features.

CEO Will Ahmed praised the additions, saying Liden has been “integral to our design DNA” since WHOOP’s earliest prototypes, while Lynch will keep the foundation strong as the company scales globally.

Liden, a celebrated industrial designer and co-founder of Aruliden, has long shaped WHOOP’s sleek product identity. He’ll now lead industrial design, accessories, and creative collaborations. “Making the complex look easy is the hardest challenge in design,” he said, vowing to take WHOOP’s vision “to the next level.”

Lynch, a Columbia-trained attorney and former General Counsel at venture firm Foundry, has guided high-growth companies through global expansion and complex legal battles. At WHOOP, he’ll oversee legal, security, people, and culture. “I could not be more excited to join WHOOP and advance its mission,” he said.

With these heavyweight hires, WHOOP is signaling it’s ready to flex both its design edge and legal muscle as it chases the future of human performance. (Source: IANS)
