SEATTLE, Wash. — Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) announced that its telehealth service, Amazon One Medical Pay-per-visit, will now include virtual care for children ages 2 to 11. The expansion allows parents and guardians to access affordable, on-demand medical care for a range of common pediatric conditions without needing insurance, a Prime membership, or a One Medical membership.

Families can connect with certified family care providers for help with conditions such as pink eye, head lice, eczema, bug bites, contact dermatitis, fungal rashes, and other common skin issues. The service also includes prescription renewals for asthma medications and EpiPens. Message-based consultations start at $29, while video visits cost $49, offering a straightforward flat-fee alternative to traditional urgent care or pediatric visits.

Each visit provides a personalized treatment plan and, when necessary, prescriptions that can be filled through Amazon Pharmacy or any preferred local pharmacy. Amazon Pharmacy offers transparent pricing, around-the-clock access to pharmacists, and free nationwide medication delivery, including same-day service in select U.S. cities.

“As a parent, I am all too familiar with taking a child who doesn’t feel well to urgent care and waiting over an hour, only to spend ten minutes with a clinician,” said Bergen Elsa, general manager for Amazon One Medical Pay-per-visit. “This service makes it easier for families to connect with trusted family care providers, day or night, saving time and money while providing peace of mind and helping kids feel better sooner.”

The addition of pediatric care marks another step in Amazon’s ongoing effort to expand accessible, technology-driven healthcare options for families nationwide.
